Short: Meteor Chasing in Sekinchan
Accompanying music: Vincent ~ Don McLean
A brief revisit of our trip to Sekinchan in 2020 to catch a glimpse of the annual January Quadrantids shower. The open paddy fields provided a wide enough window for folks like us to peek into the skies without going too far outside of Greater Kuala Lumpur. Glowing clouds drifted about throughout the night until the early morning, not so much as to crowd the skies, but enough to beautifully frame the light show above.
Despite not capturing many photos of the elusive meteors, the view itself was worth spending the whole night there.
